A hand-painted Provençal ceramic cicada, a traditional symbol of good luck and summer in the South of France. Glazed in glossy black, soft ochre and olive green with charming painted olives and foliage, this piece carries the warmth and playful spirit of mid-century French regional pottery. A decorative accent that can be hung or placed flat as a playful styling piece. It brings a touch of Mediterranean character to kitchens, outdoor loggias, entryways or garden rooms. Traditionally filled with lavender sprigs, this is as beautiful empty as it is filled.
