This piece embodies the spirit of French provincial craftsmanship. A refined pair of forged iron lamps, each a study in craftsmanship. The hand-forged tripod bases curve in scrolls - elegant, and undeniably human in touch. Their silhouettes recall the sculptural restraint of Jean Royère. Topped with soft empire linen shades, the pairing of pale fabric and dark iron feels deliberate and balanced - the interplay between weight and lightness, masculine and feminine. Perfect on a console, beside a bed or flanking a sofa, they bring structure and calm to any room, casting a warm and poetic light. There is a very subtle dark green verdigris to these lamps, but mostly the lamps read black.
